Iyabo Farouk was kidnapped on her way from school, three years ago when she was six years old but she was only recently rescued by men of the Nigerian Police Force. The only clue the little girl could provide was to say she was abducted from Oja Oba, making it difficult for the police to identify the particular state in the South West where she was kidnapped. Iyabo, whose name was changed to Blessing, had been sold to different people who made her do different domestic chores. Iyabo or Blessing’s wish is for her to be reunited with her family.
