He mesmerized me with his friendly mien
Loving. Caring. And understanding
So I thought…
Until he revealed the wilderness in his
heart
Filled with snakes and scorpions
What a wolf in lamb’s skin he is!
Profiting from the ignorance of others
Building Empires with his vampire’s
instincts
Alas! I‘ve become too intimate with him
Not knowing he is an intimate stranger.
Then I paused and pondered: ‘What manner of
man is this?’
From a distance a voice buzzed out saying
‘Even the Messiah was betrayed’
It was then I got consoled
Not minding that I’d been backstabbed.
